Another Great Jeffrey Gaines Houseparty Fundraiser
For
the last fifteen years, Jeffrey Gaines has spread the love
across the nation with his acoustic shows, showcasing his
amazing passion and riveting storytelling. A Pennsylvania
native, Jeffrey is perhaps best known for his live rendition
of Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" though his own
song writing is a stirring mix of street-speak and pure
soul. His smile is contagious. His intensity unmatched.
Jeffrey provided another rare up close and personal show. Thank you so musch to all that attended and supporting MAGIC.

supporters had a special VIP Meet and Greet, dinner, and
concert
with Glenn Tillbrook one of the leaders of
the legendary group Squeeze.

Our
benefit concert series continued when we hosted another
exclusive MAGIC Fundraiser at the NorVa. Marc Cohn, singer-songwriter,
pianist, acoustic and electric guitarist, is often named
among the most personal, most introspective lyricists of
his generation. He used his husky voice and distinctive
songs to great effect in the 90s when his debut album
won the 1991 Grammy for Best New Artist. Marc's two following
records, released in 1993 and 1998, feature backing vocals
from such artists as Rosanne Cash, David Crosby, Graham
Nash, and Bonnie Raitt.

is Mark's biggest fan!
The
evening featured a pre-show Eat-and-Greet with Marc Including
autographs photos and conversation.

premier concert venue the NorVa, MAGIC again hosted an exclusive
Party and fundraiser that included a pre-show Eat-and-Greet
with Jeffrey Gaines.

of the Arts (www.getmagic.net) to supply the music and Internet
art components for "Data Analysis and Measurement:
Dancing in the Night Sky," the eighth program in the
2002-2003 NASA CONNECT season. Alex Trebek,
host
of the popular quiz show Jeopardy, is the featured celebrity
and the show is hosted by Jennifer Pulley and Dr. Sten Odenwald.
Dancing in the Night Sky was filmed on location in Norway.
"Dancing
in the Night Sky" airs on PBS stations.
